Who’d have thought that all those meals we made when we were younger would lead to us owning a Poutinerie so many years later? Those good times led us to cottages and other crazy adventures in nature. Those great times were always made better when we got there with our deep fryer and potato deliciousness. About 5 years ago in front of one of our infamous bonfires, the idea of a Poutinerie came to life. We were always making crazy poutine concoctions and once our friends tried them and loved them, it kinda became a no brainer! That idea led us to scour Toronto looking for the best poutines. When that wasn’t enough, we took it to the next level – and booked flights to head where poutine originated and we travelled to Quebec. When we were there, we tried gravies, curds, poutines and recipes – if it had anything to do with a poutine, we were in there experimenting and taking our already insane love and passion for the dish to new heights. Even while working our day jobs, we’d head out after our long days and get pen to paper, potato to deep fryer and began creating poutines night and day. The next natural step after that was merging our love of the poutine with our love of nature. After all, our connection with nature is so strong – we just knew we had to bring it into the city and make our own little forest right here in Toronto. When you walk in here, you’re basically seeing the inside of our brains – lots of forests, enchanted ideas, bright colours and obviously some unicorns!Lastly, we realized that placing a forest with delicious poutines here in Toronto needed to include a menu as multicultural as the city it’s in. We love travelling, which is where the Caribbean, American, Italian, Middle Eastern, Canadian & Greek inspiration comes from. We always wanted to set out to be different. Having neon colours, unicorns, forests and the best poutines in Toronto pretty much solidified that. Come in for yourself and escape reality and get Enchanted – you won’t regret it!
